I stopped by Grounds while visiting New London and had a great experience. This small-town coffee cafe has a warm, inviting atmosphere with a nice seating area—perfect for reading, working on a laptop, or just relaxing with a cup of coffee. The coffee is excellent! Whether you're in the mood for a rich espresso, a smooth latte, or a refreshing iced coffee, they’ve got you covered. They also offer a great selection of baked goods—muffins, pastries, and more—to pair with your drink. The two ladies behind the counter were incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming vibe of the place. Overall, it’s a great spot to start your day or take a break. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in New London!

Love this café! Truly a very nice place to stop for coffee or a sweet baked treat! Teddi is a very pleasant person, and she always remembers her customer's names. 11/10 would go again and again.

Great little bakery with lots of goodies. They have lots of different drink combinations both hot and cold, and a large variety of baked goods. Also all throughout the bakery there are local goods for sale such as artwork, handmade cards, earrings, etc. Prices very reasonable. Will go there any chance I get!

Great coffee!! I loved my hot chocolate. Just the perfect amount of heat, very rich and decadent. We also tried a lavender ice coffee. Very nice smooth lavender finish . Nice location for this coffee ofcmain street near the center of town . The coffee shop is welcoming and has a cozy and warm atmosphere. Plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your cup of deliciousness

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grounds Coffee Shop is the ultimate morning pick-me-up paradise! My taste buds did a happy dance as I savored a lip-smacking latte paired with the zingy peach ginger bar. But that's not all, my wife indulged in a scrumptious chocolate chip muffin while sipping on a delightful Chai latte. The flavors were out-of-this-world amazing! And let's talk about the staff - they're like the caffeine of friendliness, giving our 8 am visit a cheery start. The atmosphere? Perfecto! If you're on a quest for the best brews and bites in town, Grounds Coffee Shop is your treasure map!

Absolutely love the sweet treats. The vegan fruit bars are delicious! & continue to be so. Also enjoyed the oversized pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. A previous visit I moaned over the maple blondie bar Had a rasberry brownie recently that was fudgy with chocolate candy-like icing Most recently enjoyed a very moist Raspberry muffin. Love the expresso. Assorted fun gifts from local artists are available.

I stopped by Grounds a few times while staying in New London. It has a relaxed and rather quaint atmosphere—a typical college town coffee shop—and serves reasonably priced coffees, including espresso drinks, and light breakfast. I had a great bagel, which was delicious, and a very good latte, perhaps the best I had in New London. The only negative was that the service was a bit mixed: my experience with one person was fantastic and welcoming; another was quite unfriendly to the point of making me not feel valued as a customer.

Amazing coffee and baked goods! I was visiting from Texas with my kids that are dairy and soy free. We had to plan a 5 day vacation to not go out to eat because it's just too challenging. So it was a miracle to find out that in New London there was a coffee shop that had gluten free, dairy free, soy free treats for my kids and myself! So loved the live edge counters and my oat milk latte and their GF DF pumpkin muffins were so good we came back the next day to get more! The next time my brother flies down to Texas he needs to bring a box of treats from Grounds for us, they were that good!
